About Us
Loose Leashes is the creation of Lalla Thomson, a dog walker - turned - dog trainer who wanted to provide a dog walking service that really was about exercising dogs. Lalla believes that dogs are most happy when they are understood, well exercised and treated like - well - a dog! Lalla received her Career as a Dog Trainer Certificate from the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and with over 12 years experience researching dog behaviour and working alongside expert trainers both in the UK and abroad, she has honed her skill in communicating with and getting the best out of your best friend.
At Loose Leashes we pride ourselves on our fun, friendly and energetic approach, while making sure we are consistent, reliable and professional. Our aim is to build trust with not only the dogs we walk, but our clients too! A walk shouldn’t be just a sniff around the block, at Loose Leashes we make sure that your dog gets an incredible experience every time! We take advantage of our vast green spaces, making sure that all our dogs are moving, playing, running and socialising. Lalla has always made sure to take incredible action shots to show our clients what a fabulous time their dog is having.
Lalla ensures that each of her Loose Leashes walkers is well trained and understands exactly what is expected when we are asked to walk local dogs. Each walker is checked, trained and supported at every stage to ensure excellent services all round.
